Our youth teams cover a range of age groups, starting from early years through to older youth teams. Availability may vary by age group and team, so we recommend getting in touch to discuss current spaces.
No. Players of all experience levels are welcome. Whether your child is new to football or already playing regularly, our coaches focus on supporting each player’s individual development.
Training sessions are held at our designated local training venues and run on set evenings during the week. Match days typically take place at weekends. Full details, including times and locations, are shared once a player is registered or invited for a trial session.
Yes. All FC Highend coaches and key volunteers are appropriately qualified, DBS checked and follow safeguarding best practice to ensure a safe and positive environment for every player.
Costs can vary depending on age group and team, and usually contribute towards league fees, training, kit and equipment. We aim to keep football affordable and accessible and will always be transparent about fees before a player joins.
Yes. We encourage new players to attend a trial or taster session where possible. This gives both the player and parents an opportunity to meet the coaches, experience training and see if FC Highend is the right fit.
Player welfare is at the heart of FC Highend. We operate clear safeguarding policies, have a dedicated Welfare Officer, and promote respect, inclusion and positive behaviour across the club.
For training, players usually require football boots, shin pads, suitable sportswear and a water bottle. Match kit details will be provided once a player joins a team.
This depends on the age group. For younger players, parents or guardians are usually required to remain nearby. For older age groups, drop-off is often permitted once trust and safeguarding arrangements are established.
Communication is typically shared via team group chats, email and our website and social media channels. We aim to keep parents informed about training, fixtures, events and important club updates.
